The Department of Mediterranean Studies is part of the School of Humanities of the University of the Aegean. The School of Humanities is located in the centre of the town of Rhodes, next to the Medieval Town. It is housed in three buildings that were constructed under the command of Mario Lago (1923-1936) and designed by Florestano de Fausto. They initially functioned as a military camp known as Caserma Regina Elena and, following the liberation of Rhodes from Italian occupation, housed the Police Academy.

 

The conference will be held at the “Kornelios Kastoriades Hall” -conference room of the campus, located at the ground floor of the “Kleovoulos” building.
